Flex Fab - Door Frame Fabrication Line

A complete fabrication line that manufactures steel door frames from coils. The operator enters the part numbers and quantities to create the manufacturing recipe and starts the line. The equipment will then automatically blank and form the door frames per the recipe.

 

The line includes:

    • Coil Car
    • Uncoiler
    • Coil Processor #1 (Straightener, Roll Feed, Edge Trim Slitter, Scrap Chopper and Per-Notch)
    • Bridge Table
    • Ultrasonic Loop Control
    • Coil Processor #2 (Roll feed, 6 Lead/Trail Notchers, Slug Die and Shear)
    • Skew Conveyor
    • Rollformer #1 (Forms the Hat Section and Edge Forming)
    • Notcher (Lock and Hinge Prep)
    • Rollformer #2 (Forms the Final “U” Bend)
