Combination Multi-Blanking & Recoiling

Our Combination Multi-Blanking and Recoiling line produces tight, evenly wound coils from master coils or precision blanks. The slitting system starts with a heavy duty uncoiler which decoils the material into a straightener and slitter before shearing the strip to length and stacking it. When not making blanks the strip continues out of the slitter and onto a tension recoiler.

The Combination Multi-Blanking and Recoiling line is designed for use as a spin-down line to convert master coils into smaller coils or produce precision blanks.

Slit Width Slitter width accuracy is operator dependent and machine repeatability will be ± .007" (.18 mm) on each setup
Part Tolerance Length:
± 1/32" (± 3/4 mm) to50 fpm (15 mpm) ± 1/16" (± 1- 1/2 mm) to 100 fpm (30 mpm) in length in Flying Shear Mode. When multiple stands are being processed, length tolerance only applies to centerline repeatability of the mult under the measure wheel. When single blanks are being processed, length tolerance only applies to centerline repeatability of the center of the blank under the measure wheel.

Min. Slit Strip Width 3" (51 mm) including outside edges
Drive Variable speed based on application
Expansion Pneumatic expansion with gripper assy.

Note:
When doing multiple coils it is recommended to use a looping pit with Ultrasonic Loop Control. IPI can assist you in determining what depth pit is required for variance in material thickness across the width of a coil.
