Cut to Length 4 (CTL-4)

The Cut to Length 4 is an automatic blanking machine designed to produce finished blanks or sheets from coil stock. The powered 6 roll straightener section removes coil set and the flying shear assembly cuts the material to length. The unit incorporates a microprocessor equipped controller to insure much higher quality of blank tolerance and higher production rates.

 

Optical encoders produce very close tolerances by constantly monitoring the material and the traveling shear head. A sophisticated servo system is used to accelerate, control and decelerate the shear head travel to produce the maximum cuts per minute.
