Pivot Shear
The Pivot Shear will produce triangles, trapezoids, parallelograms and square or rectangular blanks direct from coil stock with an absolute minimum of scrap. By utilizing a state of the art microprocessor based control and Closed Loop Servo Drive System, machine accuracy and reliability are ensured. The Pivot Shear’s Microprocessor based control enables the operator to easily enter the part length, angle data and quantity required to meet production requirements.
The Shear section is equipped with High Carbon, High Chrome shear blades that have 4 usable cutting edges. The shear can be set in a fixed location for cutting either square or angular cuts, required when producing squares, rectangles or parallelograms. It can also be set for pivotal operation, required when producing triangles or trapezoids.

| NOTE: Final accuracy of the cut part is ultimately determined by the quality of the coil being processed. Camber, "Oil Can" and other poor quality coil conditions will adversely affect the tolerance and quality of the parts processed on this or any shearing machine. |
