Multi-Pro 3

The MULTI-PRO 3 is an automatic blanking machine designed to produce finished blanks or sheets from coil stock. The coil stock can be slit to obtain the correct width (edge trim) or to provide multiple blanks. The MULTI-PRO-3 system incorporates a Programmable Logic Control (PLC) to insure much higher quality of blank tolerance and higher production rates.

 

Optical encoders constantly monitor both the material and the travelling shear position to provide very close tolerances on finished parts. The shear head travel is controlled using a sophisticated servo system which can accelerate, position, and decelerate the shear head to produce maximum cuts per minute while maintaining accuracy.
